Vivacious Kokopelli Earrings with Onyx & Opal Inlay

Vivacious earrings featuring the fertility deity Kokopelli, dancing and playing his flute. Each earring features a single Kokopelli, suspended from domed silver earring tops. The sterling silver figures wear robes of onyx inlay striped with fiery green opal. These are post earrings for pierced ears. Marked "Sterling" on the back. Circa 1980.

Kokopelli is a sacred figure from Southwestern Native American lore. He is a trickster and music spirit, often depicted as a humpbacked flute player carrying seeds to bring fertility and abundant harvests.

Details.....The earrings are 1.56" long, Kokopelli measures .56" by 1.18". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
