This vivacious, heart brooch hails from the 1980s. The jaunty sterling silver heart is paved in glittering marcasites. A faceted oval amethyst is bezel set in one of the heart's lobes. Delicate engraved details enhance the dark sparkle of the marcasites. The playful brooch is a versatile size and lightweight enough for most fabrics. Its back is marked "925 KC," and it finishes with a secure rollover pin clasp. Circa 1980.
