Incredible signed Helen Woodhull necklace. Her aptly named "Lace Necklace" features an oval pendant of glossy pale green aventurine in a lacy frame of rich 18k yellow gold. The color combination is dreamy. The pendant hangs on a cable chain with a decorative "S" hook clasp. The back of the necklace is marked "98 WH 18k." Highly collectable, this necklace is documented on Woodhull's website. Circa 1970.

Helen Woodhull was a prominent New York jewelry designer whose work was informed by ancient design and antique themes. In the course of nearly 40 years, Woodhull operated three stores on the Upper East Side and designed for Tiffany, Cartier and Georg Jensen. She designed for prestigious retailers such as Peacock’s in Chicago, Caldwell’s in Philadelphia, and Gump’s in San Francisco. For the last 10 years of her career her work was associated exclusively with James Robinson Inc.

Details..... The necklace is 16" long, the pendant measures 1.05" by 0.97". In Excellent Vintage Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear, we consider it part of their charm.
